I recently watched a very interesting Japanese animation movie -- Princess Mononoke. Gripping till the end. It is a story of fight between humans and the animals to control a forest. Being used to simple storylines in animation movies, this movie was a big difference. One of the most interesting scenes are the various tree spirits, Kodama, walking around and climbing up the trees waiting for the forest spirit to come during the nights. The music is electrifying during this sequence.

After seeing the movie, I had to go through the synopsis to make sure that I understood the story correctly.

Excellent movie. A story that talks about living in harmony with the nature.
