Blessings in myriad forms
I strongly feel that the divine forces work in many forms to ensure smoothness in our lives. But sadly many a time we do not recognise the subtle forms of Grace and seek HIM only when things go wrong. When I reflected on a series of little incidents that took place, I was fully convinced that I was blessed indeed for what happened and felt very grateful.
We stay in a pretty remote place and the nearest auto stand is around 2 kms away. I had asked a known auto driver, to come and pick the kids and me for the night train, since Sathish was to join us at the station directly. I was also wondering what I would do if he failed to come. In the evening when talking to a friend, I mentioned that we were leaving on a trip that night. She immediately volunteered to drop me to the nearest auto stand. I said I would call her in case the auto driver failed to turn up. The auto driver came on time, inspite of some heavy rains in our area and my friend called me right after that to check if I needed a drop. The driver took us to the station well ahead of the train departure time. A little after we reached, there was a heavy downpour through out the city and people came completely drenched into the coaches.
During the holiday trip, the kids were very cooperative, the place where we stayed was comfortable, the food was very good and kid friendly and the people we had for company were very amiable. The place was fantastic and awe inspiring..more about it another post !
Finally when we came back today, bone tired but with wonderful memories, I thanked God for showering us with little blessings all along the way. My heart was filled with gratitude for that auto driver, the friend, all the other people and nature, who co-conspired to make it a perfect vacation !

I can completely understand how you feel. These people are the unsung heroes in our lives and many times we just forget to even ack. them. Your showing gratitude shows how sensitive you are to such gestures of people towards you and your family. I really admire that :)
