I feel stressed

- bcos I need to have a plan in my head for the cooking menu everyday and there is no escaping it.
- bcos with a house come all kinds of issues like plumbing works, electrical works, masonry work and I need to wait endlessly for these workers to come and complete the task.
- bcos with numerous electrical appliances in the house, there is always atleast one which is not working and     which requires me to search the files, dig out the warranty card, call the service guys, give the address and directions multiple times since they don't LISTEN well anytime and wait for these service guys endlessly again.
- bcos kindness and a subtle overlooking of minor discrepancies in household work, do not seem to work with  the maid servant. It leads to more issues in quality of work and finally a big showdown with her, gets the work  done. I absolutely hate it.
- bcos I need to be on top of son's school assignments and ensure everything goes smoothly. Frequent reminders, follow ups and all that stuff.
- bcos I have this nagging tooth problem which refuses to go away and now a dentist visit is imminent. The joy of having not visited a doctor in the last few months has vanished. I hate doctor visits.
-bcos I seem to be an organised hard worker, but still there is always more work to be done in a day.

Compared to the kind of issues that people face, mine are just teeny weeny. But in my little world, these are the factors for bringing my spirits down one fine day. I am glad that I do not have the added stress of working outside the home. I used to joke around a few years back that if I continued feeling stressful the way I used to feel, I would suffer a heart attack by 35 years. Thankfully with the changes we made in our life, I crossed that age uneventfully.

Hugs, Ranjani. You are not alone.

If not for your post, I would have written one in the same lines. I need a vacation away from home and without any of my family members.

I have atleast one solution for your #1. When ever I cook a good BF+L+D, I note it down in my desitiffinbox.blogspot.com site. I have a collection of 25 BF+L+D combos. This runs in a loop.

Thanks Sandhya..definitely need it today !

Utbt, totally nodding in agreement with your first para. Just hopped over to the food blog (did not know you maintained that !), skimmed over the items and now have come back with a complex. You do so many varieties ?? Anyway some seemed quite interesting and healthy too, so will go back to get the recipes :-)

R, youa re certainly not alone. Add the many food fusses of the various individuals in the house, to be balanced with good healthy menu. Phew.

And I am not even going to check utbt's food site. As it is she gives me a complex!

Chox, that's step 2 of headache..catering to individiual fusses (not Sathish, the kids !) and bringing in the health factor !

Thanks for good Information
